    Tester služi za testiranje kisika in vrednosti pH bazenske vode. Da bi vaša bazenska voda ostala kristalno čista, je uporaba testerja nujna. Vzemite vzorec vode iz vašega bazena in če izmerjene vrednosti niso v mejah normale (pH 6,9-7,4 ; O2 3,0-8,0 mg/l), jih prilagodite s pomočjo bazenske kemije. Najprej prilagodite vrednost pH (pH+ ali pH-), nato pa prilagajajte vrednost kisika (le jo  povečujte - če je vrednost klora previsoka, je ne znižujte, saj bo čez nekaj dni sama padla). Kisik se dodaja šele po uravnavanju pH, ker učinkovitost kisika zunaj priporočene vrednosti pH močno pade.
    Tester DPD deluje na principu vizualne primerjave z barvno lestvico ob merilnih komorah. Po dodajanju tablete Oxy/pH v komoro se voda obarva, glede na rezultat pa je treba prilagoditi vrednosti Oxy/pH v bazenu.
